Welcome to Iron Mountain Glass's News page. Wow it's been along time since I've had time to upgrade the website. I'm sorry, but it seems like life has jumped up and said "I'm here and it's time for you to pay attention to me." I'm sure all of you at one time or another has had it knocking on your door. I'm no longer employed at Moen by choice I might add. They were a great company to work for and I'm thankful I had the chance to work there, it's just 4 years of 3rd shift will take it's toll on a body and soul and mine was saying it was enough. I'm in the process of looking for something on 1st shift using the degrees I went to College for. In the meantime I've been spending time in the glass shop getting back into making art and I'm enjoying every minute of it, well most every minute of it. Did I mention that the temps here have been pushing triple digits for weeks now. Whew it is HOT! Then you add a torch that is throwing big flames directly in your face and HOT just became ____! Well you know so there is no need for me to say it. We haven't attended many shows this year but just to let you great folks know we are about ready to change that. We have a concert coming up in 2 weeks in Charlotte, then a couple of other art shows that we have applied for. I will keep you updated in the event section of the website. I'm in the process of updating everything on the website so keep checking back. The old stuff will be put in the gallery section and all new stuff will be added as soon as I can get the pictures taken. Thank you all for being so understanding, your a great bunch of people.
